Why the MK48 weld table?

Steel is an unparalleled choice for crafting welding tables due to its exceptional properties, which perfectly align with the demands of welding operations. Steel offers remarkable strength and durability, ensuring the welding table can withstand the intense heat and pressure generated during welding processes without warping or compromising its integrity.

In addition, steel provides excellent thermal conductivity, efficiently dissipating heat from the welded material and preventing distortion. Its robust nature allows the user to attach various accessories, fixtures, and clamps, providing versatility and customization options for different welding projects. Furthermore, steel is readily available and cost-effective, making it an ideal material choice for manufacturing welding tables with long-lasting performance and value.

C4 Welding’s MK48 weld tables are built by fabricators for fabricators and hobbyists alike. Fabricated using A36 steel precision machined on all five faces in a single set-up ensures these tables will be rigid and flat within .001” per foot. The face design of the table has 3.00” spacing and 1.00” holes, making it easy to use with our tooling and eliminating the need for any tape measurements with 1/16” tolerances or greater. Alternatively, the standard 1.00” holes make it easy to develop DIY tooling using standard 1” stock to meet your unique needs.

Each weld table is certified flat at the time of manufacture and proudly built to last a lifetime in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota.
